Bruckner was 11 when she started her acting career. Bruckner, the Hollywood California native born to an Hungarian and a Russian father, who separated from their mother in the past, was a child of a German paternal grandmother. Her parents met in Hungary and relocated from Hungary to U.S. in 1984 through a refugee camp in Italy. She is the mother of two sisters, and a brother.
